The staff was friendly, and my kids enjoyed the pool after a hot day of sightseeing. The gift shop was a nice touch for souvenirs, too.
My kids wished there were more activities for families. A kids' play area would really enhance the stay.

Two laptops for general use.
Cooked breakfast didn't seem as fresh, as it was kept reheated. The lighting in the room was white and bright, a bit like a clinic, could be more homely.

I loved the relaxing spa experience surrounded by nature and the delicious food, especially the fresh dishes made to order. the pool was smaller than I expected from the photos. Definitely returning!

The staff were great. The grounds are vast and very jungle like and there are huge lizards and other wildlife - which makes for an exciting stay. Great pool, restaurant and room.
I would like to think they used purified water for their ice but we both were sick after dinner, which included one of their cocktails. No better place to be sick but still. There are also biting insects that invade the restaurant because it is all open air, but that I guess is for the guest to premeditate and apply some repellent.

Families looking for a great escape
The pool area was beautiful! We spent hours there, relaxing while my kids splashed around and enjoyed the sunshine. Not to mention, the staff was helpful when we needed some extra towels and they brought them right away with a smile.
It wasn't cheap, but still acceptable.

The location of the hotel was comfy and ideal - at a medium distance from Agua Azul. We had a nice size and stocked room with shower. The staff was very very helpful without being intrusive.

Great pool but loud nights
The pool area is super nice and great. The buffet breakfast was bomb-so many options! But the loud music from events kept me up until past 1 am. Not cool, especially when I just wanted some peace. The room could've used some fresh air, too.

i loved the hotel, it was huge and fairly clean, location was good and perfect near the ruins. the room i had was well-stocked and large with shower and the staff was exceptionally friendly.

Do recommend for short visits
Comfortable beds, clean rooms, and a nice swimming pool made for a pleasant stay, especially with the convenient location that allowed easy access to nearby attractions.
Nothing to complain about at all.
